Biography

Ruth E. Zucker, 93, of Fremont passed away at Elmwood at the Springs on May 20, 2012. She was born on May 29, 1918 in Fremont to Jessie & Mary (Bowlus) Snow. Ruth married Harold Zucker on August 4, 1936 in Tiffin. She was a member of Grace Community Church. Ruth will be remembered as a lover of animals who enjoyed quilting and crocheting, and a lady that was always up for a chat.
Surviving are children, Sharon Otermat of Whitehouse, Karen Guernsey of Whitehouse and Jeff Zucker of Fremont; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; siblings, Ethel Fowler and Charles Mortimer Snow, and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Fremont where funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Grace Community Church or to the American Cancer Society.
